Job summary

Linesight in Singapore is seeking a Cost Manager to lead pre- and post-contract cost management for flagship data center and other projects. You will create estimates, cost plans, and cost reports while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to drive value.

You will engage in tender analysis, manage project spend, and support settlement of disputes. Travel occasionally and build strong client relationships as part of our collaborative, open-culture consultancy.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management on varied projects.
• Degree or comparable experience in cost management or construction.
• Enjoys a dynamic environment with ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
• Willing to travel for short periods to meet clients, partners and team.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments within the data center industry.
• Support project management with cost documentation and timely communication.
• Participate in tender/bid processes from documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Oversee project spend with valuations and cost reports; communicate variations to the team.
• Assist in settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency.
• Resolve commercial, change orders and contract issues quickly and fairly.
• Assist in preparation and agreement of final accounts to ensure client value.
