Job summary

Resorts World at Sentosa Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer to lead project execution across ride and show control systems. You will oversee scopes, budgets and schedules while coordinating with OEMs and vendors to ensure on-time delivery and safety compliance.

Qualified candidates have 5–7 years in controls/industrial automation, strong PLC/SCADA knowledge, and experience in project management or supervision.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 5–7 years in Controls Engineering or related industries.
• 2+ years in project management or supervisory roles.
• Experience with industrial control systems and asset replacement projects.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and networks.
• Ability to interpret schematics and project documents.
• Knowledge of budgeting, risk management, and contracts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, feasibility, budgets, schedules, procurement, contracts and risks.
• Provide technical oversight for ride and show control systems.
• Review documentation and designs for compliance and safety requirements.
• Coordinate installation, integration, testing, validation and commissioning.
• Manage external vendors and contractors; monitor deliverables and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations and safety practices.
• Maintain configuration management, backups, and project records.
• Lead meetings and report progress, issues, and mitigation plans.
• Drive improvements in reliability, cybersecurity resilience, and lifecycle costs.
• Support standardization of controls specifications and testing procedures.
