Job summary

Resorts World Sentosa is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead scope, budget, and scheduling for complex theme-park projects in Singapore. You will provide engineering support for ride systems, coordinate installations, testing, and handover, while supervising contractors and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5–7 years in mechanical engineering or related industries and at least 2 years in project management, with strong communication and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related industries.
• At least 2 years in project management or supervision.
• Experience with mechanical systems, equipment installations or asset replacements.
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong planning, budgeting, risk management, and scheduling knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to work at heights in an attraction environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes, feasibility studies, budgets, schedules and procurement plans.
• Provide engineering support for ride systems, vehicles, and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Oversee contractors, vendors and OEMs to ensure quality and safety.
• Ensure compliance with Universal standards, regulations and local requirements.
• Maintain project documentation and support inspections and quality verification.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance and Safety to minimize disruption.
• Lead project meetings and report progress, risks, and mitigations.
• Capture lessons learned and improve engineering standards.
