Job summary

TOP ELECTRICAL & ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced automation engineer to design, program and commission PLC/SCADA systems. You will develop control software, create wiring diagrams, and support FAT/SAT activities with customers in Singapore.

The role requires hands-on expertise with multiple PLC platforms, Wonderware ArchestrA, WINCC and TI Portal, plus strong Profibus troubleshooting. You may lead a small team and work on site during plant expansions and commissioning.

Qualifications

10+ years hands-on PLC/SCADA experience across design, development and maintenance.
Proficiency with Siemens S7-400, Mitsubishi, Pro-face, Panasonic and Allen-Bradley PLCs.
Experience with Wonderware ArchestrA, WINCC and TI A Portal is required.
Familiar with automation and control engineering principles.
Strong Profibus communication and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Interpret process requirements from Technical Specs and P&IDs.
Design and develop control systems; lead off-site development and on-site commissioning.
Prepare FDS/FCD, system configurations and P&IDs for instrumentation.
Develop PLC programming and HMI/SCADA designs; perform field wiring and commissioning.
Conduct FAT/SAT and prepare related documentation.
Commission and troubleshoot new and existing systems with customers.
Lead installation and supervision of equipment during plant expansion.
Manage projects including testing, installation, maintenance and testing.
Program Life Safety Systems configurations.
Diagnose issues and provide timely reports; implement enhancements.
