Job summary

SEARCHASIA CONSULTING PTE. LTD.

is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to provide full-scope QS services from feasibility to tendering, and to oversee all project finances and contracts through final account closure. You will prepare detailed budgets, cost estimates, and monthly costing reports, perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis, manage variations, and draft tender documents, contracts, and final recommendation reports.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building/ Construction Management/ Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
• More than 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Well versed in contract forms such as PSSCOC, SIA and FIDIC and other international contracts.
• Experience in a consultancy firm.

Responsibilities

• Full-Scope Consulting: deliver quantity surveying services from feasibility to final tendering.
• End-to-End Financial Management: oversee project finances and contracts from pre-tender to final account closure.
• Cost Reporting Collaboration: work with Project Managers to create and update monthly costing reports.
• Budgeting and Cost Analysis: prepare detailed budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports.
• Core QS Operations: handle daily measurement tasks including quantity take-offs, cost estimating, variations, and monthly claims.
• Contract and Tender Administration: review contracts, draft tender documents, and evaluate bids to write final recommendation reports.
