Job summary

Ocean Network Express (ONE) in Singapore is seeking a logistics analyst to track daily Asia container stock, analyze supply-and-demand imbalances, and coordinate empty container movements to support sales and bookings.

You will prepare regular inventory, KPI reports, and coordinate with Space Control and Vessel Operations, while collaborating with regional teams to optimize workflows and reduce bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Track daily Asia container stock levels across terminals and depots to maintain balance.
• Assist in analyzing equipment supply-and-demand imbalances to identify deficits and surpluses.
• Coordinate timely release and fulfillment of empty containers to support sales and bookings.
• Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory, vessel utilization, and KPI reports.
• Coordinate positioning of empty containers from surplus ports to deficit locations via feeder, main-haul, rail, and trucking networks.
• Liaise with Space Control and Vessel Operations to secure empty repositioning space.
• Support weekly regional flow meetings to track EP execution and plan upcoming operations.
• Identify operational bottlenecks in daily flows and suggest improvements.
• Review Empty Positioning costs and flag illogical or redundant routings.
• Utilize stock simulation tools and predictive models to forecast deficits.
• Participate in testing, adoption, and optimization of new digital flow management tools.
• Cross-Functional support with local port offices, RHQ, and GHQ to resolve bottlenecks.
• Assist with monitoring off-hire performance.
• Execute ad-hoc tasks and strategic assignments as delegated by the Manager / HOD.
