Job summary

Paramount Resources in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead commercial development projects. You will manage a team of consultants from inspection to completion, drive planning sessions, monitor progress, and ensure projects meet time, cost, and quality targets.

You will coordinate internal resources and external stakeholders, review designs for cost-effectiveness and compliance with authorities, and oversee tendering, procurement, and site management.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of directly relevant experience in commercial development projects.
• Strong leadership to grow a team of project managers.
• Experience with Cost & Contract Management and Site Management.
• University degree in Civil or MEP engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of consultants from project inspection to completion.
• Monitor progress to ensure on-time, on-budget, and to quality standards.
• Coordinate staff and resources; manage internal and external stakeholders.
• Review consultants' designs for cost-effectiveness and compliance with authorities.
• Drive process improvements and liaise with authorities for approvals.
• Plan and coordinate design development, schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee tendering and procurement activities.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, quality, and authorities' requirements.
• Liaise with stakeholders for asset handover and resolve technical issues.
• Attend site meetings with Architects, PE, Authorities, and consultants.
• Conduct project reviews and prepare reports for senior management.

Job description

• Manage a team of consultants from project inspection to completion, and lead project planning sessions
• Monitor the progress and ensure projects are completed within desired time, quality and cost
• Coordinating staff and internal resources, and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Review consultants' design and to ensure design is adequate, cost-effective and complies with Authorities' requirements
• Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
• Liaise with Consultants and relevant Authorities for approval
• Plan and co-ordinate design development, project schedules and budgets and ensure that work is progressing as planned
• Manage tender process and procurement activities
• Ensure the works are completed in compliance with drawings, specifications, quality and authorities' requirements
• Liaise with stakeholders on their requirements, including handover of assets
• Liaise with Architects, PE, RTO, Authorities, and other consultants, project-related personnel to settle any technical problems and to attend site meetings
• Conducting project review and creating details reports for senior management
• Resolve all technical issue with Consultants

Requirement:

• Experience: at least 12-15 years of directly relevant working experience in commercial development projects with strong and reputable developers in Singapore;
• Technical competencies in Cost & Contract Management and Site Management domains
• Leadership quality and maturity to lead and grow a team of specialists across different technical domains, ideally with a track record of building and managing a team of project managers; a team player with strong individual drive, sense of responsibility and task ownership.
• Communication skills to manage and coordinate work across different technical domains both internally and externally.
• Problem-solving skills to manage and resolve issues across different technical domains both internally and externally.
• Positive and “can-do” attitude to inspire the team and all stakeholders involve in project development work with critical attention to details
