Job summary

TPC SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to oversee the MICRON project at 18 Attap Valley Road, Singapore 759910.

You will manage site activities, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance on this complex project. The role requires strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills, with a background in civil/MEP disciplines and experience in semiconductor or related environments preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction, engineering, or project management.
• Prior experience managing construction sites and subcontractors is preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor, industrial, cleanroom, M&E, piping, or process-related projects will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, site coordination, project scheduling, and safety requirements.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings, technical specifications, and project documents.
• Good leadership, planning, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple site activities and priorities.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations and WSH requirements will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or other project management software will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage overall construction activities from project commencement to completion.
• Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, manpower allocation, materials, equipment, and site resources.
• Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Attend project meetings, site meetings, and coordination meetings, and follow up on action items.
• Identify and resolve site issues, technical problems, and construction-related challenges in a timely manner.
• Monitor construction schedules and implement recovery plans where required to avoid project delays.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements, company safety procedures, and relevant Singapore regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality standards and workmanship requirements are met.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on technical matters, drawings, RFIs, submissions, and site modifications.
• Ensure proper documentation, progress reports, site records, and project-related reports are maintained.
• Manage testing, commissioning, inspections, handover, and rectification works where applicable.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned by management.
