Job summary

Ministry of Manpower in Singapore is seeking a Senior Manager/Manager in the Compliance team to lead initiatives improving employer–MDW relationships and safeguard MDW well-being during employment in Singapore.

You will work with stakeholders, review and implement programmes, handle public enquiries and appeals, and conduct data analysis to inform policy and scheme enhancements.

Job description

What the role is:

As a Senior Manager/Manager in the Compliance team, you will need to implement various initiatives to improve the employment relationships between employers and their migrant domestic workers (MDWs) and ensure the well-being and protection of MDWs during their employment in Singapore.In your course of work, you will:• Work with various stakeholders to review and implement programmes, such as workshops for employers who experienced multiple changes of MDWs within a short period, and house visits and interviews for MDWs, to set the appropriate expectations and shape behaviour in both parties, so that they are better able to maintain a healthy employment relationship and comply with the various rules and regulations.• Perform operational tasks such as handling of public enquiries, appeals and waiver requests, conduct process reviews and support IT development to improve operational efficiency• Conduct data analysis for regular reporting and provide insights when senior leadership requires assessments on emerging trends (such number of onboarded FCEs, retention rate of MDWs, workshop effectiveness etc).• Distil insights from data analysis and findings and translate to actionable policy recommendations and scheme enhancements

What we are looking for:

• Experience in stakeholder engagement, programme implementation, is preferred. Strong presentation and report writing capabilities.• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.• Able to work well independently and in a team.• Receptive and agile to changes.
