Job summary

Masimo in Singapore is seeking a Senior Commodity Specialist to support purchasing and planning of critical items for existing and new products. You will liaise between manufacturing, engineering and suppliers, helping develop alternate sources of supply while optimizing cost, inventory and terms.

Five+ years in manufacturing, vendor management, ISO production experience and strong procurement/project management skills are required. This on-site role offers a remote work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with vendor management processes and contract manufacturers.
• Experience in an ISO production environment.
• Proven procurement and project management skills with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to read and understand BOMs, MRP, safety stock and shortage reports.

Responsibilities

• Support purchasing/planning of critical items and advanced material planning for existing and new products.
• Act as liaison between manufacturing, engineering and suppliers.
• Assist development of alternate sources of supply.
• Handle bid solicitations and quotations.
• Optimize supply chain with respect to price, inventory, terms and conditions.
