Job summary

The GMP Group in Singapore is seeking a proactive Sourcing Specialist to lead end-to-end activities for assigned commodities, focusing on supplier selection, cost competitiveness, lead time optimization, and capacity planning to support business objectives.

You will analyze costs, benchmark prices, and perform Total Cost of Ownership evaluations to identify savings, monitor supplier performance against key metrics, onboard new suppliers, and collaborate with buyers to implement sourcing

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related technical field.
1–2 years of sourcing or category management experience.
Preferably in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.
Proficient in advanced data tools (Excel Power Query/Pivot, Power BI, Tableau).

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end sourcing activities for assigned commodities, focusing on supplier selection, cost competitiveness, lead time optimization, and capacity planning.
Conduct cost analysis, price benchmarking, and Total Cost of Ownership evaluations to identify cost savings.
Monitor supplier performance against key metrics (quality, on-time delivery, responsiveness, capacity).
Identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with requirements and building vendor relationships.
Collaborate with buyers and cross-functional stakeholders to execute sourcing strategies and maintain master data.
