Job summary
Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd seeks an experienced Strategic Commodity Manager to lead global sourcing and supplier management for highly engineered products. You will drive cost optimization, supplier performance, resilience, and strategic sourcing across a worldwide supplier network to support business growth and operational excellence.
You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Product Management, Quality, and regional teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies
Qualifications
- 5–10 years in strategic sourcing, procurement or commodity management within tech manufacturing.
- Experience managing global suppliers, especially across Asia.
- Proven supplier qualification, audits and performance management.
- Experience supporting engineering and manufacturing teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing activities for assigned technology categories.
- Develop and execute global commodity strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance using Quality, Delivery, Cost metrics.
- Drive supplier development to improve quality, lead times and innovation.
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier governance.
