Job summary

NCS is seeking a Lead Application Architect to define end-to-end application architecture, ensure technical excellence, and provide strong technical leadership for complex projects across APAC.

The role requires deep expertise in modern application design, cloud technologies, and enterprise integration, with the ability to guide teams and maintain architectural integrity throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience with architectural leadership.
• Singapore Citizen due to government project sensitivity.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and React.js.
• Experience designing cloud-native apps on AWS or Azure.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong technical leadership in large-scale or complex projects.
• Define system-level architecture, design principles and API strategies.
• Architect and implement microservices and distributed systems.
• Oversee framework design and reusable components.
• Maintain architecture across the SDLC and align with business needs.
• Engage customers to explain architecture decisions and trade-offs.
• Troubleshoot complex integration problems and support teams.
