Job summary

TYLin is seeking an engineer for our Singapore office to lead detailed design reports, calculations and drawings, and to prepare submissions for statutory authorities. You will coordinate with disciplines to deliver design deliverables and contribute to tendering and project delivery.

The role requires a civil/structural engineering degree and at least 5 years of design experience, with strong communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with PE registration eligibility (Singapore).
• Minimum 5 years of design experience in building, geotechnical, infrastructure, rail or road projects.
• Conversant with local codes and authority submission procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Good project management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the preparation of detailed design reports, calculations and drawings.
• Prepare submissions to statutory agencies/authorities.
• Coordinate with other disciplines in preparation of design deliverables.
• Lead in preparing tender documentation.
• Participate in the tendering of projects and successful delivery.
• Train and mentor juniors.
• Oversee design management, coordination and project control on major projects.
