Job summary

A1 Main Contractor in Singapore is seeking experienced Civil & Structural Design Engineers to join their project team. You will manage and coordinate design works for building and industrial projects, review submissions, and liaise with architects, consultants and authorities.

Candidates should have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of RC/steel structures, precast and foundations, and familiarity with Singapore standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience on building, industrial, commercial or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of Singapore codes and authority submissions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate Civil & Structural design works for building and industrial projects.
• Review structural designs, drawings, calculations and submissions for compliance with Singapore standards.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, M&E consultants, process engineers, QS, subcontractors and project teams.
• Review RC, steel, precast, foundations, piling, substructures and superstructure works.
• Review shop drawings, method statements and technical submissions.
• Identify and resolve design, coordination and site-related issues.
• Prepare and coordinate tender packages and technical documentation.
• Liaise with consultants and authorities on submissions and approvals.
• Support Project Managers to meet programme, quality and technical requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and provide practical engineering solutions during construction.
