Job summary

A1 Main Contractor is seeking experienced Civil & Structural Design Engineers to join their project teams in Singapore. You will manage and coordinate civil/structural design works for building and industrial projects, review designs and ensure compliance with local standards, and collaborate with architects, consultants and contractors to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Civil & Structural design experience.
• Experience on building, industrial, commercial or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with Singapore codes, standards and authority submissions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate civil and structural design works for building and industrial projects.
• Review designs, drawings, calculations and submissions for compliance with Singapore standards.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, M&E consultants, contractors and project teams.
• Review RC, steel, precast, foundation and substructure works.
• Identify and resolve design, coordination and site-related technical issues.
• Prepare tender packages and technical documentation.
• Liaise with consultants and authorities on submissions and approvals.
• Support Project Managers to deliver projects per programme and quality requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and provide practical engineering solutions during construction.
