Jacobs Solutions Inc. in Singapore seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead the planning, design, and coordination of a multi-billion-dollar Water Reclamation Plant programme. You will manage design delivery, permitting, and client engagements across site-wide infrastructure, while guiding hydraulic design and tender deliverables.

This role requires a degree in civil/environmental engineering and 8+ years' experience in large-scale water infrastructure, with a collaborative, proactive mindset.

Your impact

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and coordination of a multi‑billion‑dollar Water Reclamation Plant (WRP) programme. Your responsibilities include:

• Lead and coordinate civil design delivery across multiple WRP‑civil site wide related infrastructure and treatment facility packages, in close collaboration with the Project Manager and multidisciplinary package leads.
• Manage and drive the design permitting and consultation process, coordinating submissions and responses with statutory authorities and utility agencies.
• Act as a primary client‑facing site wide design representative, managing expectations, resolving technical issues, and maintaining effective working relationships.
• Lead and chair design and client coordination meetings, overseeing preparation of agendas, minutes, and follow‑up actions.
• Provide technical leadership for hydraulic design and modelling, including stormwater systems, process hydraulics, and pressure pipelines.
• Oversee preparation and review of tender documents, design reports, drawings, technical specifications, and design deliverables.
• Maintain governance of design documentation, ensuring proper control, review, approval, and archiving in accordance with project requirements.
• Support construction and site teams on design‑related matters, including review of investigations, resolving design clarifications, and addressing constructability issues.

Here's what you'll need

• Minimum Degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering. A Degree from a BCA/PEB‑recognized university would be an added advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in large-scale civil or water infrastructure projects, including treatment plants or industrial facilities.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with hydraulic modelling or calculations (stormwater or pressure pipes) is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including MS Project) and basic navigation skills in AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• A self-driven, collaborative mindset, with a desire to grow professionally.
• Excellent communication, judgement, and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, solution-oriented attitude and enthusiasm for learning.
