Job summary

Jacobs Douwe Egberts RTL SCC SG PTE. LTD is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Water team on sewer projects in Singapore. The role is 100% site-based, supporting the Project Manager with construction supervision and contract management.

You will review submissions, manage daily records, and work with safety and compliance stakeholders. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Civil or Environmental Engineering with at least 3 years of site supervision experience, especially in sewerage or water

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in site supervision of civil engineering; Sewerage or Water Main experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractors’ teams on site and ensure works comply with design and safety requirements.
• Review contractor submissions and assess progress claims with the Quantity Surveyor.
• Coordinate with RTOs, STOs, WSHOs and PROs assigned to the project.
• Systematically manage and update daily data on all records of the program.

Your impact

We are looking to hire a Project Engineer to be part of our Water team working on exciting Sewer projects across Singapore. Jacobs' role is The Client's Representative for construction supervision works. This is a 100% site-based role.

This role will be working with the Project Manager in charge and contract management, carrying out site supervision of contractors’ teams; review Contractor submissions and assess progress claims with QS; manage and work closely with RTOs, STOs, WSHOs, and PROs assigned to the project; and systematically manage and update daily data on all records of the program

Here's what you'll need

To be a successful candidate you shall possess:

• Minimum Diploma in Civil or Environmental Engineering


• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in site supervision of civil engineering. Experience in Sewerage or Water Main projects will be an added advantage


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
