Job summary

Blue Water Shipping in Singapore seeks a Senior Chartering Executive to join our Chartering department and support project cargo solutions originating from the APAC region. You will source vessels, review RFQs, and negotiate commercial terms to secure optimal outcomes.

Role involves coordinating with global teams, maintaining carrier relationships, and monitoring performance to drive improvement across our chartering desk.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of chartering experience.
• Experience with international carriers or freight forwarders.
• Strong understanding of voyage charters and carrier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Support managers with RFQs, tenders, and vessel sourcing for APAC-originating cargo.
• Review RFQ requirements and gather transport specs and schedules.
• Develop relationships with global carriers and evaluate alternatives.
• Negotiate terms to secure competitive vessel solutions.
• Monitor carrier performance and support continuous improvement.
