Job summary

Maersk in Singapore is seeking a senior project logistics professional to lead chartering, supplier management, and procurement across Asia Pacific. You will ensure robust supplier networks, drive commercial negotiations, and support tendering for complex project cargo.

You will collaborate across matrix functions and with vessel owners, shipbrokers, and carriers to deliver reliable and cost-effective solutions while maintaining HSSEQ standards and regional procurement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in project logistics, chartering, vessel procurement, breakbulk, heavy-lift, or related logistics sectors.
• Strong network with vessel owners, shipbrokers, carriers, and specialized logistics providers across Asia Pacific.
• Proven experience negotiating freight, chartering, transportation, or logistics-related contracts.
• Strong supplier management and stakeholder management capabilities in a regional environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead chartering and procurement activities for project logistics opportunities across Asia Pacific.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vessel owners, shipbrokers, carriers, and specialized logistics providers.
• Manage supplier selection, onboarding, performance, and compliance processes.
• Maintain a robust and qualified supplier network to support project logistics requirements across the region.
• Lead commercial negotiations on freight rates, charter agreements, service contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers and carriers.
