Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of X years of experience in cargo operations, logistics, or a related field, with at least Y years in a senior management role.
• Proven track record of managing and optimizing cargo operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of cargo handling procedures, regulations, and safety standards.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle complex situations with a solution-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in cargo management software and other relevant technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize cargo operations, enhance service quality, and drive business growth.
• Manage day-to-day cargo operations, including freight handling, logistics, warehousing, and transportation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of cargo professionals to achieve operational excellence and meet performance targets.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, prepare budgets, and implement cost-effective measures to maximize profitability.
• Identify new business opportunities and work closely with the sales team to expand the cargo services portfolio.
• Collaborate with other departments, including sales, customer service, and HR, to ensure seamless operations and achieve company objectives.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and market conditions to maintain a competitive edge
