Job summary

MATTSON TECHNOLOGY SINGAPORE PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a procurement professional with 4+ years in the semiconductor sector to manage supplier relationships, quote and negotiate, and ensure material availability across supply chain.

You will coordinate with Master Scheduling, Sales, and ERP to transition parts from development to production, write procedures, and drive supplier performance metrics.

Occasional evening calls may be required to support global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years procurement experience, semiconductor exposure preferred.
• Experience writing complex procedures and working with SAP HANA.

• Conducts supplier quoting and negotiation aligned with scope, budget and margins.
• Creates POs/Requisitions and maintains invoice tracking and goods receipts.
• Manages transition of parts from development to production with ERP coordination.
• Assists with engineering prototype and development demands and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts supplier quoting and negotiation, considering project scope, budget, and margin targets. Strategic development of suppliers, supplier selection and qualification, transition of products from engineering to production, project management and overall supplier performance.
• Creates Purchase Orders / Requisitions, maintaining Invoice tracking and Goods Receipts. Ensures the availability of materials in supply chain and manufacturing and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels.
• Manages transition of parts from development to production start by reviewing ERP demands and coordinating with Master Scheduling and Sales. Assists with engineering prototype and development demands
• Works on highly complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. Makes recommendations for new procedures to overcome existing obstacles.
• Leverages knowledge to work independently and drive supplier improvement, manages most critical and complex commodities. Responsible for development and execution of supplier performance metrics.

The job incumbent should possess:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years’ procurement experience. Relevant experience in the semiconductor industry is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to write complex service and operating procedures
• Working knowledge of programs to construct electronic documentation and proficient knowledge in SAP HANA.
• Willingness to participate in occasional evening conference calls to support global business operations during Pacific time zone.
