Job summary

SANLI M&E ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Tunnel Engineer to lead planning, design and supervision of bored tunneling projects, with emphasis on method statements and safety procedures to meet specifications.

Degree in Civil Engineering with 5+ years in bored tunneling is required; strong CAD (AutoCAD) and Office365 skills are essential. You will coordinate with authorities, select final ring designs and present tunneling works to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of bored tunneling design/engineering experience.
• Proficient in Office365 and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of local authority requirements and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and manage bore tunneling projects.
• Prepare method statements, safe work procedures, risk registers and progress reports.
• Calculate project specifications and monitor on-site progress.
• Provide engineering supervision to bored tunneling operations and select final ring.
• Prepare and present tunneling works prior to commencement.
• Conduct daily site inspection and supervision of bored tunneling works.
