Job summary

A leading M&E construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced BIM Engineer to design MEP layouts and manage BIM models. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience in the Singapore construction industry. Job Description

• Design and draft MEP layouts, sectional details, plant room drawing and space management plans
• Create and update BIM models based on Tender drawings and corrigendum
• Creating and managing Revit project file for the ACMV system using company's standard as specified in the BIM execution plan
• Generate shop drawings from BIM model
• Lead a team of Modellers and monitor the BIM model deliverables for design, documentation and fabrication purpose
• Coordinate and monitor shop drawing submission schedule
• Excellent attention to details, final checking of models for accuracy prior to issue making modifications or directing subordinates where required
• Attend BIM model co-ordination meetings as required and when required attend meeting via video conference with the project team and report on work process
• Complete timesheet accurately ahead of weekly deadlines
• Use of BIM for coordination, sequencing, constructability and as built
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve design issues
• Carry out a review of all models to ensure internal QA procedures are followed

Job requirements

• Minimum degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline
• At least 5years of BIM modelling and collaboration working experience in Singapore M&E construction industry
• Certification in BIM Modelling and BIM Management, proficiency in relevant software and excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong technical knowledge in ACMV systems
• Communicates well, able to work independently as well as in a team to deliver projects in a timely manner
• Working days: 5.5days
