Job summary

TECHNIQUES AIR-CONDITIONING & ENGINEERING PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a BIM Drafting Specialist to create and manage Revit projects for ACMV systems, coordinating pipe, duct, and equipment models.

You will work with project teams to ensure drawings meet specifications, perform clash checks, prepare shop drawings from BIM, and continuously improve modelling techniques while maintaining tidy files. 5.5-day week; West or Central location.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2 years BIM drafting experience for ACMV field is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, MEP Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Working days: 5.5 days per week (alternate Sat off).
• Location: West or Central Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Create & manage Revit project files for ACMV systems per BIM execution plan.
• Update and coordinate Revit model (pipes, ducts, equipment familias).
• Ensure drawings comply with project specs and requirements.
• Perform interference/clash checking within own model or against other disciplines.
• Prepare modelling and shop drawing submissions with project team.
• Collaborate with project teams on drawing amendments and updates.
• Generate shop drawings from the BIM model.
• Maintain project file size and cleanliness for credibility.
• Continue improving Revit and BIM software knowledge.
• Assist with other drafting and modelling tasks as assigned.

Job Description :

• Create & manage Revit project file for the ACMV systems usingcompany's standard as specified in the BIM execution plan.
• Update and coordinate Revit model (eg. pipe routings, duct routings, equipment families) throughout the project development.
• Ensure all drawings are compliant with project specifications and requirements.
• Perform interference, clash checking within own model and/or against other disciplines.
• Work with project team to prepare modelling and shop drawing submission
• Work closely with the project teams on drawing amendments and updates.
• Generate shop drawings from the BIM model.
• Manage the project file maintaining minimal file size and unnecessary objects inside file for file credibility.
• Perform other drafting and modelling task relating to design and installation matters.
• Continuously improve knowledge of Revit software as well as other software used in BIM (Building Information Modelling).
• Any other duties that assign from time to time.

Job Requirements :

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its relevant discipline
• Preferably 2 years of BIM drafting experience for ACMV field in the local construction industry
• Proficient in MS Office / MEP Revit / AutoCAD / Naviswork
• Able to work independently and good team player
• Working days: 5.5 days (alternate Sat off)
• Working Location : Either West or Central.
