Job summary

A leading engineering company in Singapore seeks a detail-oriented BIM Specialist to manage modelling environments and generate shop drawings. The ideal candidate will have at least a diploma in a relevant M&E discipline and a minimum of 2 years of BIM experience in the Singapore M&E construction industry. Responsibilities include creating and updating BIM models, attending coordination meetings, and ensuring compliance with internal QA procedures. This full-time role operates 5.5 days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma in relevant M&E discipline.
• At least 2 years of BIM working experience in Singapore M&E construction industry.
• Certified in BIM Modelling and BIM Management.
• Ability to work independently and in teams to meet deadlines.

• To set up and monitor modelling environment.
• Create and update BIM models based on Tender drawings and corrigendum
• Creating and managing Revit project file for the ACMV system using company's standard as specified in the BIM execution plan
• Generate shop drawings from BIM model
• Manage the project file, maintaining minimal file size and unnecessary objects inside file for file credibility
• Excellent attention to details, final checking of models for accuracy prior to issue making modifications or directing subordinates where required
• Attend BIM model co-ordination meetings as required and when required attend meeting via video conference with the project team and report on work process
• Complete timesheet accurately ahead of weekly deadlines
• Carry out a review of all models to ensure internal QA procedures are followed

Job Requirements

• Minimum diploma in relevant M&E discipline
• At least 2years of BIM working experience in Singapore M&E construction industry
• Certified in BIM Modelling and BIM Management
• Communicates well, able to work independently as well as in a team to deliver projects in a timely manner
• Working days: 5.5days
