Job summary

MRM BUILDERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced BIM Modeler to create and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, MEP, and façade works in Singapore.

You will prepare detailed shop drawings and fabrication documentation from BIM models, coordinate with architects, engineers and subcontractors, and lead model coordination and clash detection to resolve design issues on time. This role requires independent work and strong project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of BIM modelling experience in construction, façade, aluminium, or MEP projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM software.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and coordination processes.
• Experience preparing shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, clash detection, and model coordination.
• Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP or façade works.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and construction documentation from BIM models.
• Coordinate BIM models with architects, consultants, engineers, and subcontractors to identify and resolve design clashes.
• Perform clash detection and model coordination using BIM software.
• Update BIM models to reflect design revisions and as-built conditions.
• Ensure all BIM models comply with project standards, specifications, and BIM execution plans.
• Extract schedules, quantities, and material information from BIM models when required.
• Collaborate with project, engineering, and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain proper document control and version management of BIM files.
• Support project planning, fabrication, and site installation through accurate modelling.
