Job summary

KTP CONSULTANTS PTE LTD is looking for an experienced BIM Lead to manage coordination across Architectural, Structural and MEP disciplines. You will develop and maintain BIM models aligned with BEP and industry standards, ensuring timely delivery and clash resolution across multiple projects.

You will lead a team of BIM Coordinators and CAD staff, drive BIM best practices, enforce standards, and support digital engineering initiatives such as 4D/5D workflows and CDE management where applicable.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Building Services, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years BIM experience in the construction, engineering, or consultancy industry, with at least 3 years in a BIM coordination or leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and related BIM tools.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary BIM coordination for large-scale building, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• In-depth understanding of BIM standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), ISO 19650 principles, and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong technical knowledge of building design, construction methodologies, and project delivery processes.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience conducting clash detection, model reviews, and constructability assessments.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple BIM deliverables within tight project timelines.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with a commitment to developing junior BIM professionals.
• Professional BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, BCA BIM Certification, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong team player with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage production and submission of BIM deliverables including authority and shop drawings.
• Monitor model progress, coordinate design changes across disciplines.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings and prepare coordination reports.
• Mentor BIM Coordinators, Modellers, and CAD staff to raise team competency.
• Support digital engineering initiatives like 4D/5D workflows and CDE management where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards, project specs, and client requirements throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage BIM coordination activities across multidisciplinary projects (Architectural, Structural and MEP disciplines).
2. Develop, maintain, and oversee BIM models to ensure compliance with project requirements, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and industry standards.
3. Coordinate and resolve design clashes using BIM software and facilitate clash detection workshops with project stakeholders.
4. Work closely with Project Managers, Design Managers, Engineers, and BIM Managers to ensure project deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
5. Review and validate BIM models, drawings, and documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and constructability.
6. Establish and enforce BIM standards, workflows, templates, and best practices within the project team.
7. Manage the production and submission of BIM deliverables, including authority submission drawings, shop drawings, and as-built models.
8. Monitor model progress, ensure timely updates, and coordinate design changes across disciplines.
9. Lead BIM coordination meetings, prepare coordination reports, and communicate technical issues and resolutions to project teams.
10. Mentor and guide BIM Coordinators, BIM Modellers, and CAD personnel to enhance team competency and project delivery.
11. Support digital engineering initiatives, including model-based quantity take-offs, 4D/5D BIM workflows, and Common Data Environment (CDE) management where applicable.
12. Ensure compliance with organizational BIM standards, project specifications, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements
