Job summary

HRLinked Asia Search & Consultancy Pte Ltd is seeking a BIM Coordinator/Senior BIM Coordinator to join a regional market leader in industrial project development. You will work in the BIM team on coordination and drawing production, ensuring BIM standards are followed and assisting in onsite/offsite implementation.

Candidate should have at least 5 years in construction, diploma in Building/Engineering, and hands-on BIM software experience (Revit, AutoCAD).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a construction project.
• Diploma or similar in Building or Engineering disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with BIM authoring and reviewing tools preferred.
• Knowledge of BIM software such as Revit and AutoCAD is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and produce co-ordination drawings for construction and equipment layout.
• Produce and manage BIM content in line with project standards.
• Assist in BIM system maintenance and project workflows.
• Support onsite and offsite BIM coordination activities.
• Leverage BIM tools to enhance construction productivity.
• Prepare discipline models and content for BIM coordination meetings.
• Ensure documents reflect discipline BIM modelling accuracy.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to resolve clashes.

BIM Coordinator / Senior BIM Coordinator – for a regional market leader in industrial project development

Roles

• Incumbent will be part of the BIM team working on BIM project in area of BIM Coordination & BIM application. Role of the BIM Coordinator is not limited to just coordinating but producing views also known as drawings in BIM.
• Assist in maintaining BIM systems and standards for construction projects and good BIM practices.
• Assist for BIM Coordination offsite & onsite implementation.
• Explore 3D BIM authoring tools to leverage on the capability to enhance construction productivity.
• To co-ordinate and produce co-ordination drawings for construction, equipment layout and plinth, producing documents & drawings for approval & construction.
• To produce the section whenever necessary.
• Ensure construction documents accuracy based on discipline BIM Modelling.
• Adhere to the BIM Project Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
• Work under direction of design professional and BIM Discipline Lead
• Prepare own discipline model and/or content for BIM Coordination Meetings.
• Ability to interchange /convert formats for collaboration internally and externally.
• Leveraging BIM software and tools as a method to coordinate design documentation
• Assist Project Manager to co-ordinate whatever necessary for projects

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a construction project.
• Diploma or similar in one of the following disciplines: Building (Architecture, Industrial Design, Projects & Facilities Management); Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Infrastructure);
• Candidates with hands on experience in BIM Authoring tools & BIM reviewing tools and software preferred.
• Passionate about BIM / VDC & Construction productivity.
• Able to work independently as well as a team.
• Knowledge & familiarity with one of the following software: Revit Architecture/ Revit Structure / Revit MEP / AutoCAD will be an advantage.
• Industry experience on a construction project will be an advantage.
