Job summary

Gan Teck Kar Investments Pte Ltd is seeking a senior barista trainer to lead, coach and demonstrate advanced coffee techniques for clients in Singapore. You will deliver on-site training, run workshops, and develop client coffee knowledge and skills in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires deep coffee expertise, strong communication, and the ability to travel to top hotels and restaurants to ensure clients maximize coffee equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in relevant fields or working experience in similar role OR capacity.
• Have at least 2 years of leadership experiences with a solid background as senior barista or coffee trainer.
• Good knowledge in coffee beans, coffee making and operation of different types of coffee machine.
• Excellent communication skills and speaks confidently.
• Excellent computer skills, well verse in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Resolving client’s queries regarding use of our coffee machines and recommending the right beans.
• Travelling to provide on-site training for luxury hotels and restaurants.
• Conducting training on-site or at our training site with clear demonstrations.
• Interacting with trainees to create a good training experience and feedback.
• Learn detailed equipment knowledge to enable setup and troubleshooting, including temperature, water pressure and grind size.
• Provide follow-up customer care and coordinate with technicians for support.
• Assist the sales team as a coffee evangelist and support marketing events.
• Set up coffee machines at client premises and fine tune equipment for best operation.
• Other duties as delegated from time to time.
