Coinhako is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance tooling powering our Trading Desk. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize workflows, and enhance reliability across systems.

The role requires building trading infrastructure, integrating with exchanges using REST, WebSocket, and FIX, and improving latency, scalability, and observability in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of professional work experience as a Software Engineer in designing and building Trading systems.
• Strong background in Python or Go; knowledge in C++ is a plus.
• Experience with REST APIs, WebSocket, and FIX connectivity.
• Familiarity with trade lifecycle, financial products, trading venues, risk controls, and execution workflows.
• Experience building trading infrastructure such as order management, execution, market data, risk, reconciliation, or post-trade workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and internal tools that support trading desk operations.
• Integrate with exchanges, liquidity providers, trading venues, and internal systems using REST APIs, WebSocket, and FIX where applicable.
• Improve reliability, scalability, latency, and observability of internal trading systems.
• Automate trading operations and reduce operational risk through better tooling and system design.
• Participate in all phases of the development life cycle: development, code review, testing, and debugging.
