Job summary

Space Executive is seeking a Trading Systems Engineer to design and build core infrastructure powering our client’s high-frequency trading operations. You will work closely with traders, quants, and engineers in a latency-sensitive environment across on-chain and traditional markets.

You will design low-latency, high-throughput systems, ensure robust exchange connectivity, and develop components for execution, order management, and real-time data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building low-latency trading systems.
• Solid grounding in finance, systems architecture, and trading infra.
• Strong low-level programming skills in Rust, C++, or Java.
• Experience with exchange APIs, OMS, pricing/risk engines, or smart order routers.
• Ability to profile, tune, and debug performance.

What You'll Do

• Design and build low-latency, high-throughput systems that power a range of algorithmic trading strategies
• Develop and maintain reliable connectivity with exchanges and protocols for seamless market access
• Build core components for trade execution, order management, and real-time market data
• Profile, tune, and continuously optimize systems for maximum speed and reliability

What We're Looking For

• Solid grounding in traditional finance, systems architecture, and trading infrastructure
• 5+ years building and maintaining low-latency systems for algorithmic trading

• Hands-on experience with exchange/broker APIs, OMS, pricing/risk engines, or smart order routers
• A knack for system-level performance tuning, monitoring, and debugging
