Job summary

Space Executive is seeking a Trading Systems Engineer to design and build core infrastructure powering our client’s high-frequency trading operations. You will work closely with traders, quants, and engineers in a latency-sensitive environment across on-chain and traditional markets.

You will design low-latency, high-throughput systems, ensure robust exchange connectivity, and develop components for execution, order management, and real-time data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building low-latency trading systems.
• Solid grounding in finance, systems architecture, and trading infra.
• Strong low-level programming skills in Rust, C++, or Java.
• Experience with exchange APIs, OMS, pricing/risk engines, or smart order routers.
• Ability to profile, tune, and debug performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build low-latency, high-throughput systems for algorithmic trading.
• Develop and maintain connectivity with exchanges for reliable market access.
• Build core components for trade execution, order management, and real-time data.
• Profile, tune, and optimize systems for speed and reliability.
• Partner with quant traders to turn ideas into scalable, production systems.
• Help shape architecture that scales with trading volume and opportunities.
• Keep systems stable in a fast-moving, latency-critical environment.
