Qualifications

About the Company

Our client is a global high-frequency trading firm building next-generation trading infrastructure across traditional and tokenised markets. They’re growing a small team of senior, hands-on engineers to build and scale their core trading platform end to end.

The Role

As a senior individual contributor, you’ll build across the full trading lifecycle rather than a single silo, covering OEMS, exchange connectivity, market data and feed handlers, pre-trade risk and post-trade reporting, and backtesting and simulation frameworks. You’ll work closely with traders and quants to turn ideas into fast, reliable production systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years building low-latency trading systems at an institutional market maker or HFT firm.
• TradFi experience across equities, options or futures.
• Strong low-level programming skills in C++ or Rust.
• Hands-on experience with exchange connectivity, OMS, risk engines, market data and smart order routing.
• End-to-end engineering breadth across the trading stack, not limited to a single exchange or pipeline.
• International experience, either in a major financial hub or building systems for global, multi-region desks.

Nice to Have

• Experience building backtesting or simulation frameworks.
• Exposure to AI or self-learning systems for automating operational workflows.
• Background in listed derivatives or volatility trading.
