in Singapore is seeking an experienced software developer to deliver feature work end to end on a production data governance platform used by researchers and staff across the organisation. You will work within an established architecture, taking features from specification to production-quality delivery, including the data model, services, infrastructure, tests, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Five+ years building and maintaining production software with real users and regular releases.
• Proficient Python development in a web framework and REST API design.
• Experience deploying database schema migrations to live systems.
• Experience creating infrastructure‑as‑code (AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation or equivalent).
• Hands-on cloud experience, AWS preferred.
• Writes automated tests as part of delivery.
• Experience in a branching/PR workflow and reviewing code.
• Experience building automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tooling as part of a normal workflow.
• Clear written technical English; documentation is a deliverable.

Responsibilities

• Implement backend feature modules against specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Design and build REST API endpoints with validation, authentication and error handling.
• Apply data model changes and migrations for live deployments.
• Author infrastructure-as-code for components you build.
• Write unit and integration tests as part of feature delivery.
• Participate in code reviews as author and reviewer.
• Produce technical documentation and runbooks for delivered components.
• Contribute frontend work as needed to complete features.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical guidance and code review feedback to juniors.
