What youll work on:

• Building a ledger system to track all client funds (inflows/outflows).
• Integrating on-ramp/off-ramp providers.
• Integrating with a custodial service provider.
• Integrating with HR systems.
• Developing a payroll system for large-scale payouts in both crypto and fiat.

Were looking for aSenior Backend Engineer who will help us design, build, and evolve the core services powering our NEO-BANK.

What you will do:

• Develop the service responsible for internal balances and money movement
  (holds, debits, refunds, internal transfers, ensuring the correctness of all ledger entries - the numbers must always match).
• Integrate the core with internal processing systems and the adapters interacting with blockchains
  (designing and implementing communication protocols: APIs, events, queues, statuses).
• Participate in architectural discussions for services and integrations
  (thinking ahead about how the system will evolve and scale, understanding reasonable trade-offs, and helping find the right balance between ideal architecture and practical delivery).
• Work closely within a team that combines processing and core engineering:
  joint planning, participating in code reviews, and driving improvements in architecture, code quality, and development processes.

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in backend development.
• Tech stack: Go, PostgreSQL, Kafka, gRPC, RESTful APIs.
• You write clean, maintainable code and value tests and code reviews.
• Youre comfortable working with existing systems: you know how to carefully refactor and reduce technical debt - not just rebuild everything from scratch.
• Mandatory: experience with systems involving money, balances, transactions, or similarly complex business logic.
