Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore seeks a Precious metal logistic and Clearing Specialist, reporting to the Vice President of Markets Operations, to manage end-to-end precious metals transactions, inventory, and settlement. You will coordinate physical movements, reconcile records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working with front office, risk, legal and technology teams.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of precious metals, operational risk management, and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in precious metals, commodities, clearing, settlement, custody, vaulting or physical logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of precious metals transaction lifecycles, market conventions, physical settlement and inventory controls.
• Working knowledge of applicable regulatory, sanctions, financial-crime and internal‑control requirements.
• Experience in operational-risk management, incident investigation, audit support and procedure governance.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder‑management and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership experience or demonstrated capability to provide functional supervision.
• Experience with automation, system implementation or process transformation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end processing of precious metals transactions including validation, confirmation and settlement.
• Coordinate physical metal movements with vaults, carriers and counterparties; maintain custody records.
• Perform clearing and reconciliations of trade, position, cash and margin; resolve breaks.
• Maintain daily controls, document evidence and support audits and regulatory reviews.
• Lead testing and post-deployment monitoring for new processes; drive automation.
• Supervise daily work, coach staff and provide SME guidance on metals logistics.
