Job summary

OVERSEA-CHINESE BANKING CORPORATION LIMITED is seeking a Precious Metal Logistics and Clearing Specialist in Singapore. You will manage end-to-end processing of precious metals transactions, coordinate physical movements with vaults and carriers, and perform reconciliations for clearing arrangements to ensure accuracy and timely settlement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in precious metals, commodities, clearing, settlement, custody, vaulting or physical logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of precious metals transaction lifecycles, market conventions, physical settlement and inventory controls.
• Working knowledge of applicable regulatory, sanctions, financial‑crime and internal‑control requirements.
• Experience in operational‑risk management, incident investigation, audit support and procedure governance.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder‑management and problem‑solving skills.
• Leadership experience or demonstrated capability to provide functional supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end processing of precious metals transactions across trade validation, confirmation, settlement, position maintenance and exception resolution.
• Coordinate approved physical metal movements with vaults, carriers, counterparties and other appointed service providers.
• Perform or oversee trade, position, cash, margin, inventory and fee reconciliations for the relevant clearing arrangements.
• Own daily operational controls and retain appropriate evidence; monitor aged breaks and control issues.
• Lead testing, implementation and post‑deployment monitoring for relevant enhancements; drive automation and process redesign.
• Coach team members and maintain cross-training and coverage; act as SME for precious metals logistics and clearing processes.
