Job summary

OCBC Bank is seeking a Precious Metal Logistic and Clearing Specialist in Singapore to manage end-to-end precious metals transactions, including inventory and physical logistics, with a focus on risk mitigation and regulatory compliance. The role reports to the Vice President of Markets Operations and requires extensive experience in metals clearing, settlement, and operations.

This is a 100% in-office position based in Tampines, Singapore, with opportunities for process improvements and team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in precious metals, clearing, or related operations.
• Understanding of metals lifecycles, settlement, and inventory controls.
• Knowledge of regulatory, sanctions, and internal control requirements.
• Experience with risk management, audits, and incident investigations.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership or supervisory capability.
• Experience with automation or process transformation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end processing of precious metals transactions including validation, confirmation and settlement.
• Coordinate physical metal movements with vaults, carriers, and counterparties.
• Perform trade, position, cash and inventory reconciliations; handle breaks.
• Maintain daily controls, records, and escalation of issues.
• Lead testing and implementation for new products or systems; drive process improvements.
• Coach team members and ensure cross-training.
