Job summary

Scoot is seeking an Organizational Psychologist to optimize pilot and cabin crew performance and well-being while guiding talent assessment and management strategies. You will convert data into actionable insights and shape Scoot's people strategy across engagement, competency frameworks, and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities span psychometric tool enhancement, survey design, data analytics, and targeted coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology (with Honours) and at least 6 years in I/O psychology with applied psychology/counselling.
• Expertise in performance coaching, human factors analysis, and program development, preferably in aviation.
• Experience designing and conducting surveys and focus groups with data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Enhance validity, reliability, and relevance of psychometric tools for Scoot.
• Review and streamline talent selection processes for efficiency and candidate experience.
• Develop interventions to reduce hiring errors and attrition.
• Gather and analyse talent data to derive insights on talent management programmes.
• Create dashboards/visualisations to provide meaningful insights for stakeholders.
• Partner with business leaders, HRBP, and TDOD team to support long-term talent strategy.
• Build and govern Scoot's competency framework based on future workforce needs.
• Design and support surveys and focus groups to assess employee sentiment and its impact on engagement.
• Analyse survey and focus group data using quantitative and qualitative methods to identify trends.
• Translate data into insights and advise on best practices for employee experience.
• Conduct performance coaching for pilots with issues; analyse performance data for obstacles.
• Develop individualized intervention plans to improve pilot performance and regulatory compliance.
• Provide training on fatigue, stress, alcohol management, and decision-making.
• Establish and maintain a CISM program for crew; provide immediate psychological support after incidents.
• Facilitate group debriefings and peer support sessions; track program data for improvements.
• Support crew recruitment using psychometrics; stay current on aviation psychology developments.
• Contribute to safety and well-being initiatives and participate in investigations as needed.
