Job summary

JTECH Automation PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Design Engineer (Mechanical) to design and develop mechanical systems for factory automation, applying SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create robust, production-ready components.

You will collaborate with electrical, software, and production teams through concept to production, ensure manufacturability and compliance, and maintain design documentation. Candidates should have 3 years of mechanical design experience, a degree in Mechanical

Qualifications

3+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in factory automation.
Associate, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD with hands-on fabrication and assembly experience.
Strong fundamentals in engineering and design for manufacturability.
Excellent verbal and written communication and multi-project management ability.

Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical systems and components for factory automation projects.
Create accurate 3D models and detailed 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Work collaboratively with electrical, software, and production teams throughout the design and manufacturing process.
Support fabrication, assembly, and troubleshooting during product realization.
Ensure all designs meet functional, safety, and industry compliance standards.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation and revision records.
Continuously evaluate and improve existing designs to drive innovation and efficiency.
