Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead mechanical design for automation equipment used in electronics manufacturing, including semicon and PCB setups.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or mechatronics, at least 6 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Solidworks and EPDM. Familiarity with ISO/IEC standards and reliability methods is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
• Min 6 years of relevant experience in automation equipment design.
• Experience with factory automation and knowledge of ISO/IEC standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Manager and customer to understand design requirements and specifications for the product.
• Analyse project requirements and participate in concept generation.
• Design high precision and high-tech automation equipment.
• Select standard components such as sensor, pneumatic, motor, servo axis and robotics.
• BOM preparation using SAP.
• Coordinate with fabrication house and component suppliers.
• Report project progress to Project Manager and superior.
• Guide assembly technicians to build and test the equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
