Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design of automation equipment for electronics manufacturing, including semicon and PCB systems. This onsite role in Woodlands requires strong CAD skills and hands-on component selection.

You will collaborate with project managers and customers to adapt designs, generate concepts, and ensure compliance with industry and safety standards while guiding fabrication teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical/mechatronics or related field.
Minimum 6 years of automation equipment design experience.
Experience selecting electrical, pneumatic and sensor components.
Proficiency in Solidworks 3D and EPDM software.
Familiar with ISO/IEC machine safety standards.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with PM and customers to understand design requirements.
Analyze project needs and participate in concept generation.
Design high-precision automation equipment.
Select standard components (sensors, pneumatic, motors, servo axes, robotics).
Prepare BOMs using SAP and coordinate with suppliers.
Report progress to PM and seniors; guide assembly technicians.
Work with cross-functional teams to meet industry standards and safety regs.
