Job summary

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) is seeking a seasoned engineer to join the Air Traffic Management System Platform Engineering team. You will oversee the full life cycle of the ATMS platform—covering system planning, design, implementation, and transition to operations and maintenance.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver IT/OT platform solutions, manage risks, and ensure compliance with government cybersecurity standards.

Qualifications

• Trained in Electrical, Electronics, Computer or Network Engineering, or equivalent, with 3-5 years of project management and system implementation experience.
• Experience in project management, vendor management, incident management, problem management.
• Experience with safety critical systems (e.g., ATM systems) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ATMS platform architectures including servers, storage, virtualization, failover and disaster recovery.
• Enterprise network design and operations knowledge (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, redundancy).
• Cybersecurity, system hardening, security architectures (zero trust), patch management, logging/monitoring, encryption.
• Understanding of Government IM8 policies, CCoP, ITIL, and ATM domain knowledge (ICAO/EUROCONTROL) is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel for overseas visits and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead ATMS platform project delivery, including infrastructure, network, hardware and power management.
• Coordinate with teams for room readiness, network integration, and ATM system integration.
• Resolve deployment and integration issues and liaise with technical teams to address impediments and incidents.
• Ensure compliance with IM8, CCoP and cybersecurity requirements across the system life cycle.
• Manage vendors and contractors, including procurement evaluation and contract administration.
• Engage stakeholders across government agencies, system suppliers and operators to validate implementation.
