Job summary

IQ EQ TRUSTEES (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable trust administrator to support private family trusts and related structures. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and proactive problem solving with a strong client-service orientation.

You will manage distributions, resolutions, minutes, and other trust-related documents, while coordinating with banks, legal advisers, and tax professionals. A STEP qualification is advantageous, and Mandarin skills are a plus.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in trust administration, fiduciary services, private wealth, or related field.
  • Qualification in Trust, Legal, Accounting, Finance, Corporate Secretarial; STEP is advantageous.
  • Good understanding of trust structures and Singapore regulatory requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Mandarin proficiency advantageous for Mandarin-speaking clients.

What you'll do
Responsibilities (how we will measure success)
  • You’ll deliver high-quality trust administration support across a portfolio of private family trusts and underlying structures.
  • You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with clients and intermediaries through responsive, professional, and effective communication.
  • You’ll ensure trust structures comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards.
  • You’ll complete periodic reviews, due diligence updates, and transaction monitoring activities accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • You’ll proactively resolve administration issues, manage risk appropriately, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to support effective portfolio management and business continuity during the maternity cover period.
Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis)
  • Support the administration of private family trusts and underlying companies in accordance with trust deeds, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.
  • Act as a contact point with professional intermediaries on trust administration matters.
  • Prepare and process trust distributions, resolutions, minutes, agreements, and other trust administration documentation.
  • Support the conducting of periodic reviews of trust structures and maintain accurate client records.
  • Ensure client due diligence and KYC documentation remains current and compliant with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Liaise with banks, investment managers, brokers, lawyers, tax advisers, and other third parties regarding client matters.
  • Coordinate the opening and maintenance of bank, investment, and brokerage accounts.
  • Assist with risk, compliance, audit, and governance-related activities.
  • Support other trust administration and operational projects as assigned.

About you
Required Experience
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in trust administration, fiduciary services, private wealth, or a related field.
  • You hold a qualification in Trust, Legal, Accounting, Finance, Corporate Secretarial, or a related discipline; STEP qualification or active pursuit of STEP is advantageous.
  • You have a good understanding of trust structures and Singapore regulatory requirements, with experience supporting trust portfolios accurately and compliantly.
  • You possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • You are a proactive team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; Mandarin language proficiency is advantageous to support Mandarin-speaking clients.
