Job summary

IQ-EQ in Singapore seeks an experienced trust professional to administer private family trusts and related entities, ensuring accurate and efficient management. You will liaise with clients and bankers to set up banking and investment accounts while ensuring compliance with policies and MAS deadlines.

The role requires strong trust, legal, financial or corporate secretarial knowledge, with STEP or accounting qualifications preferred, and fluency in Mandarin for managing a Mandarin-speaking

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in trust administration or related fields (legal, financial or corporate secretarial).
• Strong regulatory and compliance knowledge relevant to trusts and corporate services.
• Professional qualifications in Trust, Legal, Financial or Corporate Secretarial disciplines; STEP or accounting qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer private family trusts and underlying companies with accurate, efficient management.
• Liaise with clients and external stakeholders to support trust administration and establish bank/investment/brokerage accounts.
• Conduct periodic reviews of trust structures and due diligence to ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor MAS statutory filing deadlines and ensure regulatory obligations are met on time.
• Possibly serve as Resident Manager or Director for Singapore client entities and participate in governance committees.

What you'll do

• You'll administer private family trusts and their underlying companies, ensuring all trust-related activities are managed accurately and efficiently.
• You'll liaise with clients and external stakeholders, including bankers, to support trust administration activities and establish bank, investment, and brokerage accounts.
• You'll conduct periodic reviews of trust structures and due diligence requirements to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• You'll monitor MAS statutory filing deadlines and help ensure all regulatory and compliance obligations are met in a timely manner.
• You'll be willing to serve as a Resident Manager and/or Director for Singapore client entities in the future, when required, and contribute to governance activities as a member of the Client Acceptance Committee.

About you

Requirements

• You have a minimum of five years of trust administration or related experience, with a strong understanding of trust, legal, financial, or corporate secretarial practices.
• You hold relevant professional qualifications in Trust, Legal, Financial, or Corporate Secretarial disciplines, with STEP or Accounting qualifications preferred.
• You possess a strong understanding of applicable regulatory requirements, compliance obligations, and related industry policies.
• You are a proactive team player with a positive, can‑do attitude, strong initiative, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, growing organization.
• You demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• You are fluent in spoken and written Mandarin, as this role supports and manages a Mandarin‑speaking client portfolio in Hong Kong.
