Job summary

Certis Integrated Operations Centre in Singapore seeks a Senior Associate / Assistant Manager, Operations Manager to lead the 24/7 CIOC for Certis Aviation Security Operations at Changi Airport. You will direct security operations, coordinate deployments and act as incident focal point, reporting to senior management.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree, strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, and flexibility to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide effective leadership to the operations team.

• Train and supervise teams; ensure adherence to procedures and SOPs.
• Drive continuous improvement in operations and admin processes.
• Contribute to short/long-term planning as a management team member.

Duties & Responsibilities

CIOC is the 24hrs/7days command centre for Certis Aviation Security Operations in Changi Airport. It is thus important to have the Duty Operations Manager in CIOC to ensure the smooth running of operations on the ground.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide effective leadership to the operations team
• Direct and coordinate the overall activities in the operations center; planning, deployment, and tracking of security operations
• Act as focal point for any incidents involving security; to prepare reports, take follow-up action and inform the management team
• Provide additional operational support to the management team as required
• Train and supervise operations team and ensure that they adhere to established procedures and SOP
• Seek continuous improvement in operation and admin processes
• Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team
• Build winning relationships with clients, regulators and other stakeholders

Skills & Experience

• Diploma or Degree from a recognized institution
• Candidates who are Commissioned Officers from SAF or Senior Officers from SPF are encouraged to apply
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvementExcellent team player with high initiative and resourcefulness
• Exceptional communication skills across all levels
