Job summary

Changi Airports International Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive professional to join the Airline Development team in Singapore. You will engage with airlines to grow Changi’s air hub, prepare business cases, and attract new carriers through targeted campaigns and collaborations with government and industry partners.

The role involves traffic analysis, presenting insights, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver development initiatives and enhanced connectivity.

Qualifications

• Good Degree in any discipline.
• Experience in the airline or aviation sector, and/or quantitative analysis, would be advantageous.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, analytical, meticulous and a strong team player.
• Strong verbal, written communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Chinese language would be advantageous, as the incumbent may have opportunities to support Chinese-speaking stakeholders (e.g. overseas Chinese carriers and travel trade partners) in the future.
• Some overseas travelling may be required.

Responsibilities

• Engage and collaborate closely with an assigned portfolio of airlines to grow the Changi air hub and identify new airline opportunities.
• Perform traffic analysis, prepare and present business cases to airlines, and monitor market trends.
• Work with airlines to roll out joint campaigns promoting Changi Airport as the preferred transfer hub.
• Coordinate with internal divisions and external partners to drive development and ensure smooth implementation of initiatives.

Description

As part of the Airline Development team, you will be involved in market development efforts to grow Changi’s aviation business and enhance our competitiveness and attractiveness as the air hub of choice in the region. The team works closely with airlines and relevant stakeholders to strengthen Changi’s passenger traffic and air connectivity through new service launches or expand existing ones, as well as various initiatives to increase passenger traffic to and through the airport.

In this role you are expected to engage and collaborate closely with an assigned portfolio of airlines to grow the Changi air hub, as well as identify and attract new airlines in the process. You may also be involved in engagements with government agencies to promote traffic and connectivity growth at Changi. To do these, you will perform traffic analysis, prepare and present business cases to airlines, as well as keep abreast of emerging market trends and developments, and analyse the implications on Changi’s air hub growth.

You will also work with airlines to roll out joint campaigns to promote Changi Airport as the preferred transfer hub, and influence travel through Changi Airport. Partnering internal divisions and interfacing with external stakeholders to drive development and ensure smooth implementation of various initiatives is also an intrinsic part in this position. You could be involved in other projects whenever opportunities arise.
