Job summary

Citi Singapore is seeking a senior Applications Developer to lead the design and implementation of new and revised application systems in coordination with the Technology team. The role focuses on systems analysis and programming, driving high-quality solutions aligned with Citi's architecture blueprint.

You will partner with management to deliver product enhancements, mentor mid-level developers, and ensure risk-aware decisions and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis.
• Strong understanding of FX domain is preferred.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• SME in at least one area of Applications Development.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly and communicate clearly.
• Knowledge of architecture and infrastructure integration.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management teams to integrate functions and deploy enhancements.
• Resolve high-impact problems by evaluating business and system processes.
• Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure design follows architecture.
• Develop coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
• Understand how architecture and infrastructure integrate to meet goals.
• Offer in-depth analysis to define issues and craft innovative solutions.
• Coach mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as needed.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance while safeguarding Citi's reputation.
