Job summary

Siltronic in Tampines is seeking a Senior/Engineer, Application Technology to work with sales teams to understand and translate customer technical requirements into actionable plans. You will interpret specifications and coordinate material routing based on testing and yield data.

The role involves collaboration with global internal groups to align strategies with customer needs, shaping external presentations, and representing Siltronic at technical conferences as needed.

Qualifications

• University degree in Science or Engineering.
• Semiconductor industry experience.
• Technical knowledge in materials science and customer-facing experience will be an added advantage.
• Effective and fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of database software, spreadsheet and statistical software, and project management techniques.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with sales colleagues to understand current and future technical requirements from customers.
• Interpret specifications and establish optimal routing of qualification/production material based on testing/yield information.
• Collaborate with global internal groups to develop strategies to meet customer needs and trends.
• Shape external presentations to customers.
• Attend/represent Siltronic in technical conferences and classes as needed.
• Assist customers with issues by coordinating with internal groups to obtain solutions.
